Fritz!Box: Set up USB printer on Fritz!Box as network printer
Summary
You can set up a USB printer connected to the FRITZ! box as a network printer and use it on all devices in your home network.
Requirements/Restrictions
- The USB printer must be able to receive data in RAW (unidirectional RAW over TCP) format. Printers that require encapsulated or bidirectional data
transmission (e.g. some GDI or LIDIL printers) cannot be used as network printers.
- Additional functions of multifunction devices such as scanning or faxing cannot be used as network printers. It is not possible to call up
the ink level indicator.
- Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) can only use printers that use Apple AirPrint technology.
