Set up Internet phone numbers in FRITZ!Box

Summary

In the FRITZ!Box, you can configure up to 20 Internet phone numbers to make calls via the Internet (Voice over IP). With most Internet telephony providers, the FRITZ!Box automatically carries out all provider-specific settings, with some providers the numbers are even set up automatically when setting up Internet access. Phone numbers with the same access data, such as those used by Telekom or Vodafone, can also be grouped together and managed together.

In addition to this standard configuration, the FRITZBox also supports the configuration of SIP trunks and SIP system connections.

Requirements/Restrictions

It is not possible to set up a Vodafone SIP trunk, because the FRITZ!Box only supports the "Registered Mode" operating mode. The "Static Mode" is not supported.

Note: All function and setting notes in this manual refer to the current FRITZ!OS of the FRITZ!Box.
