Description

powerful wireless network auditing tool, 6th generation WiFi Pineapple software featuring Pine Access Point, web interface and modules. It is mostly used for wireless penetration testing, especially stealing data. The WiFi Pineapple Nano acts as a "flase" or "evil" WiFi where the Client connects to. It does that by scanning all the Pings of the devices which are looking for WiFi connections and saves the names of said WiFis in a pool. The Pineapple Nano then offers a WiFi with teh identocal name to the network in hope of one device connecting to it. When a device is connected the Pineapple Nano can, with modules, attack teh device in different ways. These ways include:

  • stealing data,
  • observing the device traffic to the internet,
  • creating fake pages to steal user information and many more

User Interface

After connecting the Pineapple Nano to your device correctly as can be seen in https://wiki.elvis.science/index.php?title=Pineapple_Setup a User Interface (UI) opens under the IP address 172.16.42.1:1471

The User Interface is the main working space for the penetration tester. The UI includes:

  • Dashboard - shows the uptime of the device, the clients connected and the SSIDs in the pool
